El lago de Coatepeque, en Santa Ana, El Salvador, se volvió a teñir de color turquesa en agosto. Este es un fenómeno que brinda a los turistas nacionales y extranjeros una vista impresionante del lugar.

Según autoridades del Ministerio de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales del país esto ocurre cada cierto tiempo. Un equipo de especialistas va a tomar muestras del agua y dar un informe oficial de la situación.

59,683 turistas llegaron a El Salvador en la vacación de agosto

59,683 personas ingresaron a El Salvador para hacer turismo durante la pasada vacación de agosto. Los destinos más populares fueron las playas, las montañas y la ciudad. El Instituto Salvadoreño de Turismo (ISTU) informó que 444,906 visitantes ingresaron a los parques recreativos. El más popular fue Atecozol, seguido de Amapulapa, Los Chorros, Balboa y Cerro Verde.

The summer solstice fire festivals take place in the Pyrenees Mountains each year. Different towns and villages in Spain, France, and Andorra take part in these celebrations. During the night of June 23th to 24th, people carry flaming torches down the mountains. They sing, dance, and celebrate around the fire. It is a very important community and family tradition.
